I dunno, I am at the point where my only option is to build full copper/coal/iron/stone mining and smelting operations on several planets to ship back to production lines on my main planet where my resources are almost mined out. For example a BP that lays 5 factory at the equator won't work closer to the poles, since you can only fit like 3 before you completely circle back to the starting point.
